Academy Boedecker

Academy Boedecker offers at-risk adolescents employable skills through a program of intensive vocational training. At the Boedecker Academy, adolescents ages 13 to 16, study computer science, plumbing, cooking, English or sewing on either a basic or advanced level. On the basic level students complete 60 hours of classroom study in order to receive their Basic Certificate. Select students may return to study on a na advance level for 60 additional hours to earn an Advance Certificate.

Funding

In World Spark’s programs a child’s food, housing, education and clothing are free. World Spark receives no monies from the governments of México or the United States. All construction and operational funds come from private foundations or individuals. World Spark is not affiliated with or funded by any church or religious organization. It has an independent Board of Directors and depends solely on donations.
